What is the Objective of WB Lakshmi Bhandar Scheme 2021:

The primary objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the women of the family.

What is Financial support?

A household where monthly expenditure is 5,249 rupees, the head female of the family will get 500 rupees per month on an average. In the case of general category, the head female of the family will get 1000 rupees per month, and in the household of SC/ST category the head female of the family will get 10% to 20% of their monthly expenditure.

How many beneficiaries of the scheme:

As per the survey for the scheme, the total number of beneficiaries of the scheme is 1.6 crore. As per the authority the scheme is going to be implemented from 1st July, 2021.

Helping in need

With the help of the scheme West Bengal government is going to reduce a burden of 20,000 crore rupees on the beneficiary families every year.

Raising fund

In order to raise fund for the scheme, state government has cut down expenditure from other departments.

Boosting rural economy

As per the scheme it will be able to boost rural economy up to 11, 000 crore rupees per year.

In this scheme, benefit amount will be transfer directly on the beneficiaries account. but it is mandatory that there aadhar card number should be linked with the bank account.

Laxmi Bhandar Scheme West Bengal became a successful scheme where the female family heads get monthly support of Rs 500. It is Rs1000 for families who come from SC or STs. Duare Sarkar Project Camp has been organized by the state government for helping citizens to apply for various schemes by the state government. Here more than 60% of the applications have been given for Laxmi Bhandar Scheme.

WB Lakshmi Bhandar Scheme 2021 Eligibility

Resident of West Bengal – The scheme will be applicable on the people who are domicile of the state.
Head female member – The scheme is designed for the head female member of the family.
Age Limit – All these women in the scheme is eligible whose age limit between 25 to 60 years.
Private and Govt sector –Those women is not eligible in this scheme who have
permanent jobs in the private and govt sectors.
Casual Workers – In this scheme, casual workers are also eligible.
No tax payer– Support will be provided to the female member of the family where there is no tax payer in the family.
Property holding– The general category women who have not more than 2 hectare land is eligible for the scheme.

Domicile certificate – In order to get the benefit of the scheme, the candidate needs to bring domicile certificate as ration card. ·
Aadhar Card – Aadhar card is mandatory for apply in this scheme .

How to Apply for WB Lakshmi Bhandar Scheme

Offline Application Form
In this scheme application forms are available at the government camps, which will be held on the state. application forms accepted from 16 August to 15 September. All the documents are attach with the application form. then submit the form on same camps. Then the beneficiaries will start receiving the benefit amount.
Online Application Form
There are a few simple steps to be followed for the online application form under Laxmi Bhandar Scheme. These are

The OTP will come on the registered mobile number.

WB Lakshmi Bhandar Scheme 10 major promises

Somridhho Bangla –

With the help of the scheme government will be able to generate 12.5 Lakh Crore GDP, and the per capita income will increase up to 2.5 lakh. There will 35 lakh people who will be uplifted from BPL category. The govt. will generate 5 lakhs new jobs to increase employment.

Monthly income-
With the new scheme 1.6 crore households will get financial assistance from the state government.

Arthik sujog, shobol jubo –
In order to make the youth of the state self-reliant, the state government is going to give credit card. The credit limit will be 10 lakh rupees at an interest of 4%.

Banglay shobar, nishchit ahar –
With the help of Khadya Sathi, govt. will deliver ration to the door step of the people. Under the scheme, govt. will deliver ration to 1.5 crore household. Besides that there will be 75 crore subsidized meals, there will be 2500 ‘Maa’ canteen in 50 cities.

Bordhito utpadon, sukhi krishok –
Under the initiative 68 lakhs marginal farmers will come under Krishak Bandhu Scheme. Govt. will give 10,000 rupees per acre to support them. In order to increase the crop production, 3 lakh hectares land will be converted into 4.5 lakh hectares into double cropping land. Emphasis will be given on tea, tobacco, jute, and potato.

Shilponnoto Bangla-
For the 10 lakhs MSME, 1.5 crore rupees will be invested. Govt. will be opening 2000 new industrial units in 5 years. In the next 5 years, there will new 5 lakh crore investments.

Unnototoro swasthya byabostha, sushtho Bangla-
For heathcare sector WB govt. is going to invest 0.83% to 1.5% of the total GDP. There will be Medical College-cum-Super Speciality Hospital in 23 districts. The number of seats for doctors, nurses, and paramedics will be increased.

Egiye rakhte, shikkhito Bangla-
For education WB govt. is going to spend 2.7% to 4% of the state GDP. There will be a Model Residential School in each block. Seats for teachers will be increased.

Shobai pai, matha gonjar thaai-
There will be 5 lakhs low cost households under Banglar Bari Scheme in urban areas. The slum population will be reduced from 7% to 3.65%. Under Bangla Awas Yojana 25 lakhs households will be built in rural areas.

Proti ghore bidyut, sodok, jol-
WB govt. will ensure that 47 Lakh households come under coverage of clean running water. Besides that they will ensure 24/7 electricity for everyone. The communication will be improved by constructing new roads.

So, it can be said that with the help of the scheme the head female member of the family will be financially able to take care of herself. It will also reduce the poverty level of the family and when everyone is suffering for lock down this scheme will support to get back to the course.
